Seattle Dharma and Yoga Fest to be held on August 24, 2013

dfAs part of the ongoing 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, 30+ organizations are coming together to celebrate the occasion as Dharma and Yoga Fest in Bellevue College on August 24, 2013. As part of this day-long program, the organizers have arranged activities for the entire family to experience the message of Swami Vivekananda, the universal peace through dharma.  The festival is being dubbed as “A Grand Spiritual Mela,” and is expected to become a destination for all spiritual practitioners of various faiths from Indian and American communities.

The program information is available at http:/www.dharmaandyogafest.org/seattle. The key attractions include different tracks on dharma and yoga (4 different types of yoga), a grand Pooja (prayer service) to Lord Sri Krishna by children, cultural programs such as dances, bhajans, skits and solo performances (in acting).
